Our ultimate adventure combines horseback riding with a day trip to Muir Woods National Monument, and a visit to majestic redwoods forests.
You’ll experience the backcountry of Marin County as we drive you to Stinson Beach and Bolinas where you can enjoy a gourmet meal at a beachside restaurant. After lunch, you will travel along panoramic and scenic State Route 1, through dense forests of oak, firs, pines, eucalyptus, and redwoods as we head north to Olema Valley.
No equestrian experience is necessary to join this one-hour horseback riding experience. You will be supervised by a trainer who will choose the right horse for you, based on your experience, weight, and age. Your trainer will also escort you on the trail, explain the plants and animals life in the forest, and answers any questions you may have. Our goal is to ensure a pleasurable and safe ride for everyone. Please ask us if you have questions about age and weight requirements. This ride takes place in a remote wilderness with no telephone service, and dusty roads.
After, or before your horseback ride, you will also visit Stinson Beach, Bolinas, Muir Beach overlook, and Muir Woods National Monument. With a million visitors per year, Muir Woods is the world's most-visited redwood park.
This outdoor adventure includes all taxes, and your horseback riding fees.
