In Muir Woods, you’ll experience an ancient forest of giant redwoods, the tallest trees on earth. Within this magnificent national park, there are numerous and easy hiking trails along Kent Creek, a gift and coffee shop, and restrooms. Your guide will assist you with photos and answer questions regarding the unique ecosystem and history of these giant redwoods that are more than 1,000-years-old.

After this green adventure in Muir Woods, you will travel to Muir Beach overlook and enjoy a short hike on the ocean-side, located off California Highway 1. Afterward, you’ll travel north to the wine country, to enjoy your first wine tasting experience. Let us know your wine taste preferences for a fantastic and relaxing experience.

You may also visit a charming Italian-style winery where you can sample fresh-pressed olive oil. You will also visit historic Sonoma and its downtown plaza, the birthplace of California, where you will taste wines and cheeses. Sonoma Plaza is a charming square filled with boutique wineries, restaurants, shopping courtyards, and a relaxing and pleasant experience. Sonoma is also home to the oldest wineries and vineyards in California. You can also visit the Spanish-Mexican old Mission, the barracks, and Sonoma Cheese Factory.

If you wish to visit Napa Valley, you can stop at one of the elegant wineries in Napa. Please note that wine tasting fees are not included in your tour price. We recommend Sonoma Valley for a relaxing wine tasting and dining experience.

After lunch, we will escort you to one or two more wineries to enjoy spectacular views and wine tasting. An optional guided tour may also take you to visit one of the Sonoma wineries and caves to learn more about wine growing and aging. A side trip may also take you to one of the oldest wineries in California where you can see the largest and biggest wine barrels in the world!

After an exciting wine experience in California Wine Country, your tour guide will drive you to San Francisco. We also offer drop-off in downtown Sausalito, where you can enjoy dinner and return to San Francisco by ferry (ferry tickets are not included).
